SET YOURSELF FREE! Or, more accurately, BE set free. 

With so many voices calling Christians to honor God with the proverbial 110% effort in all things, we have become disconnected from both the Head and the Heart of the Gospel. We have somehow come to believe it is our effort and productivity that brings a smile to the face of God. 

In so doing, we are merely tying ourselves up in knots, while quenching the Holy Spirit from the scene of our lives.  

Let's back up for a moment. 

The three "rockets" of the Truth Will Survive Us curriculum cannot be launched into our lives out of order. If the Holy Spirit is absent in our experience as Christians, we'll only launch into powerless and, from heaven's perspective, purposeless oblivion. 

Before you can effectively launch your kids into the purposes God has for them, and before you can effectively participate in bringing God's kingdom purposes onto earth through an accurate estimation of whose citizen you are, you must first be experiencing intimate fellowship with God through his son, Jesus Christ.

Unfortunately, for many life-long Christians, a maturing spiritual walk looks more like increased familiarity with spiritual self-disciplines, good living and a sterling track record than a truly life-altering, deeply intimate, ongoing experience alongside Jesus. 

This book should help reverse this undesirable low bar of spiritual expectation for many, resulting in the kind of vibrant and fulfilling new life Jesus intended for every true child of God.

God wants us to know Him, not just a litany of facts about Him. But sadly, many Christians today are confusing rituals with relationship, customs with communion, and learning with love.
